Great steak sandwich. It's a fast-food joint so you're going to get what you pay for but it was clean, the staff was friendly, and quick.

Just never disappoints. So good.

This is a classic old Flint restaurant. Still a favorite.

Awesome! 16" steak and cheese is in point! But... Hold up.. the big John red sauce? Kinda has a dirty sock after taste... 🤷 Lol just stopped using it. Def not my thing. Sandwich was on point!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times to eat. The food is always delicious and served quickly. This time was different from the time I walked in. It seemed to be run by children. They were loud and obnoxious as I ordered and didn’t seem to know how to make a cheeseburger sub... as I currently sit in the lobby to eat other customers come and go. I hear they staff in the back, still being loud, making fun of previous customers. They only reason I rate it 3 stars is because the food itself was still delightful. That being said, owning a business myself, your staff and customer service can make or break you. I no longer feel comfortable coming to this restaurant to enjoy a mean simply because I’d like not to be criticized and be made the but of someone’s joke.

First time there, everything was hot, made to order, and delicious. A new stop for us every time we're in Lansing

I had the cheese steak and it was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely, the portions are huge and the service is prompt.

Worst visit to Big Johns EVER!! Although the cashier was nice and pleasant. Spent $30 still didnt receive all the food i ordered. Ordered it to-go, got it on a tray, had to bag up my own food while being harassed abt whether or not we paid for cups that came with my order. Will not be returning to this Big John until they get a new staff!!

I've been a huge fan of Big John for a LONG time. This one is really good, and the mac and cheese side is spectacular.

The workers don't wear mask or gloves while touching food! After I cancelled my order they worker said oh well who cares! Not stop the dealth department! They are very rude.

We love big John's but tonight on our way through 8:45 PM we went to stop in as hours are until 10 PM but the crew was rude the girl kept saying lobby was closed but store was open till 10 pm... it's so messy when you eat a sub who wants to eat it on the road I just found her to be rude not to just us but several customers behind us

They are fast and friendly here. The subs are amazing. So are the seasoned waffle fries!

Food was great but the service was particularly slow. I've been to other locations in the Lansing area that cranked out sandwiches much quicker than this one did. Still perfectly made and delicious though.

Nice group of people working here. I got a 16 inch sub and mac and cheese. Both tasted great! Good prices! I used a coupon as well.

Friendly staff, difficult traffic right on campus. Fast and everything made fresh in front of your eyes. They really pack the subs.

These steak sandwiches are so gooood! My friend wanted to go here after a football game in EL. I figured a steak sandwich is a steak sandwich. Wrong! These are addictive. The only problem? They can only be found in the Flint and Lansing areas. Please come to Detroit.

I loooove big John. It was my first time going to this location and was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that they didn't have waffle fries!!! That is literally half the reason I go to big John's. I will definitely be going to jolly Rd or cedar St from now on.

Reasonably good food and everyone seemed to be wearing their masks at least when I went in. Other customers kept standing way too close but that really wasn't their fault. I would definitely go there again if I was nearby.

Love this location! Subs are always packed with meat and service is always served with a smile!! Always refreshing to see happy, friendly staff behind the counter.
